Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that teaches a smaller person how to defend himself against a larger adversary by using leverage and proper technique. All instruction is in the traditional Jiu-Jitsu kimono (Gi), intiated by a light stretching and varied warm up exercises, followed by positional instruction, and concluded with timed rounds of sparring better known as rolling.

The program integrates; self-defense techniques, conditioning and skill oriented games aiming to improve your child’s motor skills, agility and flexibility. These skills teach discipline and helps build confidence.

No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, also known as submission grappling, is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without the use of the traditional uniform the kimono (Gi). Practitioners typically wear shorts/Gi pants, a t-shirt, or rash guard. Other differences between the two styles include variations in technique, strategy, and tournament rules.
